EXPANSION JOINTS

Atlas manufactures several expansion joint products to fit many different applications.
  • Used in tile, brick, concrete and polymer floor systems

  • Chemical and thermal resistance

  • Durable with wheeled traffic

  • Typically placed over existing joints in the substrate

  • Minimum of 1/4″ wide and joint depth equal to half the width recommended

  • Remainder of joint filled with Ethafoam (available from Atlas) or other closed cell polyethylene foam backer rod

  • Pourable 

  • Flexible from 10°F (-12°C) to 150°F (66°C) 

  • Organic and inorganic acids, alkalies, salts

  • One component, caulking grade 

  • Installation from 30°F (-1°C) to 120°F (49°C) 

  • Flexible to 450°F (232°C) 

  • Good for horizontal and vertical surfaces 

  • USDA certifiable

  • Pourable 

  • Excellent for wheeled traffic 

  • Low temperature application available to 35°F (2°C) 

  • Mild acids, alkalis, corrosive salts, alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons

  • Novolac Epoxy epoxy based sealant 

  • Pourable 

  • Excellent for wheeled traffic 

  • Low temperature application available to 35°F (2°C)

  • USDA certifiable
