Scott Gallagher
President and CEO
Scott joined the Atlas sales and technical service group in 1995. He was the top performing Regional Manager for corrosion products for eight years before ascending to Marketing Manager. He has been the Sales Manager for Epoxybond, Industrial Asphalts, Private Label, and Specialty Products divisions. Scott has led company participation in numerous industry trade activities. He served as Vice President of Operations before being named President and CEO in August 2021.
Education
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science with a Business minor from the University of Notre Dame.
Edward Ehret
Chief Operating Officer
Edward’s tenure at Atlas began in 1994. His accounting and finance acumen quickly earned a promotion to Controller in 1995. In this role he managed all financial activities. He was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer in August 2021. Edward is a Certified Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Management Accounts.
Education
Edward holds a BS in Business Administration from Shippensburg University.
Charles Zarnitz
Director of Research
Charlie has over 40 years of experience in industrial chemistry, working in roles that included product development, quality control, technical service, product management, business development, and senior level sales management. In addition to over 15 years with Atlas, he has worked for Avery International, Devcon Corporation (now part of ITW), Wilmington Chemical (now part of Hexion Corporation), and CVC Thermoset Specialties (now part of Huntsman). Charlie currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Thermoset Resin Formulators Association.
Education
Charlie holds a BS in Biology from Lock Haven University and a MS in Chemistry from West Chester University.
Stephen Abernathy
Vice President of Sales
Stephen is a 40-year veteran of the corrosion resistant materials of construction industry. Stephen has unparalleled knowledge of corrosion resistant materials use, application, and function. He is active in many industry organizations, among them are the American National Standards Institute where he is a voting member of the A-108 Committee and US Tag ISO TC-189. Stephen was a highly successful Sales Representative before his hire as National Sales Manager in 1997. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2017.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University.
