Stainless steel manufacturing requires very aggressive chemistry. Nitric and hydrofluoric acids can wreak havoc on process equipment, primary and secondary containment linings.
Having tried a variety of linings with little success, a Midwestern stainless steel facility opted to install Anchor-Lok in the pits, trenches and sumps surrounding its batch pickling, spray, and rinse tank lines.
The HDPE fabrication was intricate. Trenches were incorporated inside and out of the large pits. Several piers were included as well.
Anchor-Lok provided a cost-effective, long-term solution.
